From the beginning, we have depended on individual donors for the majority of our support. Recently, we have been helped by the Tom Dooley Heritage, Good Samaritan, Bon Koté and the Public Welfare Foundations. Funds from these donors have enabled us to increase and train our staff, to continue and diversify our programs and to extend our services to children in rural areas.

Despite political turmoil and natural disasters in Haiti, we have been able to carry on our work effectively. We started with an annual budget of $8,000 and by 1998 our budget had passed the $70,000 mark. We are a non-sectarian, public, 501(c)(3) foundation (ID no. 68-0030247), supported by individual donors and foundations whose contributions go entirely to our programs.
